APHG group provides pathology diagnostic services. APHG is the largest private provider of pathology services operating across New Zealand. APHG provide pathology services on behalf of District Health Boards for both hospital and communities. Our primary requirement is to inform our shareholders, NZ Superfund and Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan of our greenhouse gas footprint. We will use the understanding of this report to inform our overall ESG Reporting (environmental, social and governance). The learnings from this process will be fed into our operational decision-making, in order to manage and reduce our overall greenhouse gas footprint.

APHG also provides pathology diagnostics for the vet and food industries.

APHG has 147 sites, these include private laboratories and collection centres, with over 2000 staff. The majority of staff are Phlebotomists, scientists, laboratory technicians, or courier drivers.
