WM New Zealand is Aotearoa’s leading resource recovery and waste management provider. Our fleet of 900 trucks collect over 1,000,000 tonnes of waste each year, we have 13 materials recovery facilities across New Zealand and we recycle well over 200,000 tonnes each year. We are New Zealand’s largest composter turning food and garden waste into nutrient rich compost at our Living Earth facilities, we recycle over 1.2 million old tyres and thousands of tonnes of plastics each year. Our modern landfill and energy parks capture more than 95% of the gas from decomposing waste, stopping harmful greenhouse gases from entering the atmosphere. We also treat hazardous and medical waste so it is safe for disposal.

Our team of 1800 is WM New Zealand. We are all keen environmentalists and collectively our goal is to process waste in the safest, most carbon efficient way to stop climate change.
