The Queenstown Lakes District Council (QLDC) is the territorial authority responsible for administering local government services to the Queenstown Lakes District (8,719km2 ), within the Otago region. The organisation employs over 300 FTE staff and operates from six offices, three community recreation centres, five libraries and several regulatory/works depots. QLDC is also responsible for a number of other venues and properties sites across the district.
